We ask that you arrive no later than 1 hour prior to your scheduled departure time, especially when checking luggage. Joplin is a small, friendly airport and we can get you through check-in and security rather quickly. However, we still have to meet TSA security requirements and it will require several minutes to get you onboard and on your way.
Due to security concerns for our passengers the Commercial terminal building will be closed during the overnight hours. The times the doors will be locked will depend on the flight schedule. Unfortunately, this means passengers will not be allowed to stay overnight in the terminal.

Using any desktop computer or laptop, you can check in one to 24 hours prior to departure for domestic flights.
Our airport staff is happy to assist passengers traveling with infants or pets, customers with special needs, or anyone else.
